Jan Int/Adv Series: Choreo Deep Dive
Class will be held at:
Dance Underground
340 15th Avenue East,
Seattle, WA 98112
Class will be held on the following Wednesday dates:
1/10, 7:30-9pm
1/17, 7:30-9pm
1/24, 7:30-9pm
1/31, 7:30-9pm
Prerequisites for this class:
You should be able to comfortably do the Running Man, T-Step, X-Step, and Charleston to 110BPM (try dancing to Da Funk by Daft Punk to check your speed).

BECOME A CHOREO BOSS THIS JANUARY.
This series (full of ALL NEW MATERIAL) will approach 2 separate aspects of choreography to help you:
1. Finally become comfortable with learning & performing choreography
-Learn and practice memorization skills
-Understand how and where to add your own flare to routines
-Use concepts and technique feedback to overcome and avoid common choreo pitfalls
2. Establish a framework to create your own choreography
-Use a step-by-step process to build a unique routine from scratch
-Learn concepts to help you harness your natural momentum and add style for an effortless look
-Identify and accentuate details within the music & make them POP
This series will consist of demos, guided practice opportunities, and group projects.
2 -3 people will be selected by Cisco to teach their routines to the class.
If you’ve been wanting to get experience as an instructor, or just challenge yourself to understand the moves on a deeper level, don’t miss this opportunity!
The first week will cover choreo memorization and performance techniques. The following 3 weeks will switch gears to progressively build your own routine.

Wear breathable clothing like what you would wear to the gym, and comfortable sneakers with a smooth bottom (not too grippy like running shoes).

There are no refunds for missed classes. Once the reservation has been purchased, it is the students responsibility to arrive at class and be on time. Missed time will not be made up in order to keep the rest of the class moving on schedule.

Make sure to bring water. There is no water fountain at the studio and you’re gonna be getting your sweat on!
Parking is free on the street and usually easy to find this time of night.
