November Beginner Workshops

  • Dance Underground 340 15th Avenue East Seattle, WA, 98112 United States (map)

This is the 2nd class in a “TOTAL BEGINNER” 2-part workshop. This class will cover a basic choreography geared toward beginner shufflers, and is recommended for those who either

1. Have taken a total beginner “moves and transitions” class, or

2. Have some dance/sports experience and understand how to move your body to pick up simple moves after a couple of tries.

Class will be held on:
November 8, 8-9:30pm

Class will be held at:

Dance Underground
340 15th Ave E
Seattle, WA 98112

If you have never shuffled before, this is the series for you. Designed with total beginners in mind, we move really slow and I break everything down in detail for you to make sure you are able to understand the concepts fully. Many people come to this workshop with no prior dance background at all and they are very successful, so if you’re feeling nervous to try.. don’t be :)

There are no refunds for missed classes, it is the students responsibility and commitment to attend class and be there on time.

Wear breathable clothing like what you would wear to the gym, with supportive sneakers that don’t have a ton of traction on the bottom (the smoother the better).

Bring water! The studio does not have a water fountain and you will want to stay hydrated.

There is ample free parking on the street surrounding the studio.
